Green Tea Frappechino

Matcha is a very powerful antioxidant which means it strengthens your immune system, slows down the ageing process and helps eliminate toxins. We all know green tea is good for us, but 1 glass of Matcha green tea is worth 10 glasses of regular green tea! There's more health benefits because we ingest the entire leaf, which is also shade grown for extra nutrients. Matcha has a fair amount of caffeine but doesn't give you the jitters, making it a good replacement for coffee.
Ingredients
½ cup milk of choice (I prefer almond milk)
½ cup water
2 cups ice
2 teaspoons matcha green tea powder
¼ teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1-2 teaspoons pure maple syrup or sweetener of choice to taste
Directions
Add all ingredients into a blender and combine until well blended.
This recipe is refreshing and can be quite filling. Its a perfect way to start your day: a boost of health benefits, delicious flavor and lovely texture. Pour into a reusable cup and take with you anywhere! I hope you enjoy!
